Recap: SPTechCon San Francisco | April 22-25th, 2014
I just returned from my first time speaking at SPTechCon – what a great event! Organized by BZ Media, SPTechCon brings together SharePoint practitioner from all over the world to discuss business and technical topics. There are two conferences every year: one in the spring in San Fransisco, and one in the fall in Boston. SPTechCon is known among experts as one of the top SharePoint conference in the world; they really do a great job of listening to attendee feedback and bringing in top speakers for each topic. I highly encourage you to attend!
I presented three sessions at the conference:
My third session was an overview of Enterprise Content Management features in SharePoint 2010/2013. I did not prepare slides for this session; instead I prepared several demos and polled the audience about what topics they would like to hear discussed. If you are a Microsoft partner you can access a free Office 365 instance, populated with content and profiles, for use in demos at http://microsoftofficedemos.com.
